Palastinalied (Single)

about

Written by Walther von der Vogelweide in the early 13th C. during the 5th Crusade, Palastinalied is one of the few rich Crusader Era songs to survive. Its hypnotic rhythm and melody lends itself well to a slow march and was used as a sort of call to arms by the armies crossing Europe en route to the Holy Lands.
